VS Custom hats

"You Are the Silhouette"

Without you we would not have heads to put our hats on.  You inspire us to create unique custom hats that showcase your style. Monthly we will feature a VS customer and show his/her hats.
Welook forward to working with you since  you are discriminating about what you put on your head.

Jauntyone was originally inspired by the 1930s and 1940s, and began wearing suits and Fedoras in the 1980s as a young adult. In the 1990s he developed a liking for the late 1950s/early 1960s aesthetic: trimmer suits and narrower brims. He currently swings back and forth between the two. Although he knew Art made fantastic 1930s style hats, he hesitated for a long time to ask Art for a stingy. He always suspected asking Art to make a stingy brim would be like asking Rembrandt to draw a comic book.
He could do it, but the result probably would not be what you expected. He finally asked Art for a narrower brim trilby, and surprisingly Art got exactly what he was trying to describe. The last hat Art made for him is a Black Cherry classic English trilby like Sean Connery wore in the early Bond movies. He calls it the "007 1/2 LO."

After living in France for the past 11 years, he's found that wearing hats, and especially Art's hats, gets him noticed in a very favorable way. Hats are really rare in France and fascinate people , especially the Stratoliner style hats, which epitomize for Europeans the classic American look. What is most appealing to him about Art's hats besides the superb craftsmanship and incredible attention to detail is that he's wearing a one of a kind piece. It was created by one man using his skill and fantastic sense of proportion and style, and it's not just a hat, it's an Art Fawcett hat!
